Athlete and Female Representation Amongst Key Outcomes from NDC Review

Snow Australia has routinely reviewed the role and effectiveness of the National Discipline Committees (NDC’s) against the backdrop of a changing sport and community landscape. One of the key issues that emerged was a need (in some NDC’s) to drastically improve gender diversity on the NDC’s, prompting a targeted approach to increase female membership, aiming for a minimum of 40% representation of each gender by 2026.

Anthony finishes greatest ever season with gold in Italy

Jakara Anthony’s record breaking season has finished in the best possible way, with a gold medal performance in the dual moguls overnight at the World Cup in Valmalenco, Italy, extending her record for the most ever wins in a season for a mogul skier to 14, in the greatest season ever by an Australian winter sports athlete.

Anthony wins everything after 13th victory in record season

Jakara Anthony’s unstoppable form has continued, with her 13th victory of the season in the dual moguls event overnight in Almaty, Kazakhstan, extending the total for the most ever wins in a season by a mogul skier, and claiming all three World Cup Crystal globes with one event remaining next week. Anthony recorded back-to-back wins in Kazakhstan after yesterday’s record-breaking single moguls competition.

WATER JUMP GRAND PRIX COMING TO BRISBANE

The third and final event of the series is coming down under to Brisbane's Geoff Henke Olympic Winter Training Center at Sleeman Sports Complex on Saturday 9 September, where individual medals will be up for grabs at the 2023 Snow Australia Water Jump Grand Prix, before the overall Series Champions are crowned.
