Competing Overseas
To compete overseas in FIS sanctioned competitions there are prequisites required before you can be included on an official entry form. Please view the information below to make sure you understand your obligations as requirements may vary between disciplines.

Entering FIS Sanctioned Events
Snow Australia remains the single point of entry for Australian skiers and snowboarders competing internationally in FIS sanctioned events.

New for 2026: Before being recognised or supported by Snow Australia at FIS-sanctioned competitions, training camps or related activities, representatives must confirm they meet the required standards of conduct, integrity and athlete care. As such all officials must all have an active SnowID and confirm they have read and understood the Declaration and Code of Conduct and agree to meet Snow Australia’s expectations when supporting Australian athletes. These include acting respectfully and professionally, prioritising athlete welfare, complying with relevant rules and policies, and representing Australian snowsports positively.

To be entered in FIS events you must:
1. Membership
Be a current Snow Australia member and registered with your respective FIS discipline.

Have insurance in place which provides sufficient cover as per FIS Rules.

3. Event Expression of Interest
Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to Snow Australia listing events you would like to be considered for.

Entering FIS Para Events
To be entered in FIS Para Alpine, Snowboard, Cross Country & Nordic events you must:
1. Membership
Be a current Snow Australia member and registered with a Para Wintersport Competitor Licence

2. Insurance
Have insurance in place which provides sufficient cover as per FIS Rules.

3. Event Expression of Interest
Email an Para - Expression of Interest (EOI) form to Ali Bombardier -abombardier@snow.org.au listing events you would like to be considered for.
Please Note:
- Complete this form at least 5 weeks prior to the first event start date for FIS Para, COC and WC.
- Only athletes that have met the eligibility and selection requirements as outlined in the Snow Australia FIS Para Event Selection Criteria will be considered for selection.
- Snow Australia does not assume the responsibility of providing support and services for athletes not provided with a Snow Australia Athlete Contract to attend events.
- Submitting this Expression of Interest form does not guarantee your entry into the listed event.
