Competing Overseas - Expression of Interest

Snow Australia remains the single point of entry for Australian skiers and snowboarders competing internationally in FIS sanctioned events (including New Zealand).

Process

If you intend on competing in a FIS sanctioned race or competition overseas you must complete and Expression of Interest (EOI) form and submit it to the Snow Australia office. Once received your EOI will be reviewed and checked to make sure you meet all the requirements to compete in requested events.

Once confirmed, your entry will be prepared and submitted to the organisers. Entry requests for FIS and Continental Cup events must be submitted at least four weeks prior to the start of the event. In the case of World Cup events then requests for entry must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event. You and your coach (if applicable) will be included on the submitted entry so you have a copy of the entry for your records.

Entries requested outside of the above timeframes cannot be guaranteed and if entries have been, or need to be, prioritised to meet quota restrictions, late entry requests will be the last to be considered.

Each discipline and level of competition have entry quotas and criteria in place by both Snow Australia and FIS. You must meet these minimum standards to be considered for entry. More information on quota and criteria is available below.
