Cross Country & SkiMo - 2023/24 Season Wrap

Our cross country skiers and ski mountaineers are some of the fittest athletes in snowsports and they need to be to take on the arduous events they do over a long season. The 2023/24 campaign saw new ground broken by a number of athletes as the countdown to Milano-Cortina 2026 crosses another year off the calendar.

Kate, Anna & Innika - The Aussie Women of SkiMo

The Australian SkiMo Team has gone from strength to strength over the past six months, from Snow Australia being officially recognised as a National Federation member of the International Ski Mountaineering Federation (ISMF) to our team placing 15th in the ISMF All Nations World Cup Rankings out of 29 nations in our first year of competition.

XC veteran reborn as SkiMo pioneer

Having started more than 100 cross country World Cup races since January 2012, Phil Bellingham entered unchartered territory last month. The two-time Olympian competed at his first ever Ski Mountaineering World Cup in Andorra.
