Vale - Andrew Plympton AM

Snow Australia is saddened by the passing of Andrew Plympton AM.

Andrew had a prolific involvement in sport, as well as a long career in the business sector. His many roles in sport include serving as President of the St Kilda football club for eight years, serving as an Executive Member of the Australian Olympic Committee for eight years. He was the longest serving President of Sailing Australia, a position he held for seven years and a nine-year tenure as Commissioner of the Australian Sports Commission.

Known as “The Admiral” he always had interest in our snowsport athletes and community and was a great supporter of Snow Australia. Andrew served on the Snow Australia Nomination Committee for many years.

Our thoughts are with Andrew's family and friends during this time.
