Tudhope wins gold in honour of late coach

Ben Tudhope has added yet another medal to his tally, taking out gold in Pyha, Finland overnight.
After what has been a tough week for Tudhope, following the sudden passing of his coach and mentor Mikko Wendelin, he went on to produce one of his best performances to date.
Dedicating the race to his dear friend, Tudhope claimed the top position on the podium at the first Snowboard Cross Para World Cup event of the season.
Tudhope has had a standout year so far, starting the season with a silver medal in the Netherlands, being awarded Young Athlete of the YEar with a Disability at the NSW Sport Awards, and named as a finalist in multiple categories at the upcoming AIS Sport Performance Awards.
