Snow Australia calling for International XC event EOIs

With limited international travel for high performance sport being supported and preparations well underway for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, Snow Australia is calling for expressions of interest for the following international events for the 2021/2022 season:
The 2021 World Universiade Winter Games are being hosted by the city of Lucerne in Switzerland on December 11-21, with the cross country skiing events being held at Andermatt/Realp. The cross country skiing events include the individual Sprint, Interval Start, Pursuit and Mass Start events, as well as Relays and Team Sprints. The deadline to submit expressions of interest is COB Friday 3 September.
The 2022 FIS World Junior/U23 Championships for cross country skiing are to take place in Zakopane, Poland, from February 26 to March 6. Events for both Juniors and U23 athletes include a Sprint and an Interval Start distance event, with the Juniors also competing in a Mass Start event and 4-person Relays. The U23 athletes finish their race schedule with a Mixed Relay.
The Junior/U23 event expressions of interest period closes next Monday September 6.
