Peak Learning Adventures Supporting the XC Community

Snow Australia wishes to acknowledge the support of Zac Zaharias and Peak Learning Adventures for their valued contribution to the Australian Cross Country Ski Team. 

By assisting with logistics during the most recent northern winter, Peak Learning Adventures enabled the team to concentrate on their performance.

In preparation for the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, Zac's support, along with sponsorship from Colormaker, provided a cargo van for the team. 

This vehicle was essential for transporting technical equipment, skis, waxing gear, and staff between European World Cup events.

Overview of Peak Learning Adventures

Peak Learning Adventures specialises in guided climbs and treks across global mountain regions, such as the Himalayas in Nepal, Kilimanjaro in Africa, Aconcagua in South America, and the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea.

Upcoming expeditions for October include:

• The Everest Three Passes Trek: A 22-day lodge-based journey led by an Australian Everest mountaineer. Participants will visit Everest Base Camp and avoid typical crowds by crossing two Himalayan glaciers and three high passes.

• The Mera Peak and Island Peak Expedition: A climbing adventure above 6,000m featuring views of Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu, Kangchenjunga, and Everest.

Led by some of the most experienced high-altitude mountaineers in Australia, these trips are designed to support the psychological and physical needs of expedition members.
