Hey Park and Pipe Community!

What an amazing few months it has been.

The International Snow Season has officially come to a close with the final events concluding in April.

An incredible season, filled with fantastic results across the board. This season saw our Park & Pipe junior athletes reaching top performances and personal bests, and high-performance athletes smashing their way to the top at events including World Cup, Junior World Championships and the Winter Olympic Games.

Finishing up the season in the Park & Pipe Freeski world, Indra Brown finished with two top 10 performances at the Tignes and Silvaplana World Cups, coming 4th in Big Air and 6th in Halfpipe respectively. This saw Indra placed 2nd in Overall Freeski Halfpipe World Cup Standing, and 3rd in the Overall Freeski Park & Pipe World Cup Standing. A truly inspiring result for this talented young athlete competing in her first World Cup Season!

In the Vars, France Big Air European Cup (EC), Angus Falconer and Joey Ellis, stomped their way to 10th and 11th place respectively. Aidan Laing also competing in France in the Slopestyle Event placing 11th. Angus Falconer finished off his season at the St Anton, Austria Big Air EC finishing 11th as well.
The Corvatch, Switzerland EC was a fantastic event for young athletes Maya and Hugo Broadbent. Competing in both Freeski Slopestyle and Big Air, Maya smashed her way to 2nd for Slopestyle, and finished her campaign with the Gold Medal in Big Air. Alongside Hugo, who competed against a stacked field of competitors and landed in 10th place in the Men’s Freeski Slopestyle event. Fantastic results for both athletes!

The FIS Park & Pipe Junior World Championships, hosted in Calgary Canada, saw amazing performances from all our Aussie athletes competing. In Freeski Slopestyle, Maya Broadbent landed on the podium in 3rd place, followed by another 3rd in the Big Air event. Indra Brown, competed in Slopestyle, Big Air, and Halfpipe, placing 4th and 5th, and finishing it off with the Halfpipe Gold Medal. LETS GO!

Additionally, for our Junior Snowboard Park & Pipe Athletes, top performances included Marie-Jeanne Purwanto’s 11th place in Women’s Halfpipe, and James Garth making his way into the Top 10, placing 9th in Men’s Slopestyle. Congratulations again to all Junior Athletes who competed at this high standard event!
