The much anticipated NSTC Park's new airbag got its first hits last week. As part of the First Phase commissioning process, Snow Australias ETP (Emerging Talent Program) and NSWIS Park and Pipe Skiers and Snowboarders have been training in a camp for the last week and working with the NSTC Park staff to prepare site operations and processes.

The Second Phase will be a 'Soft Launch'  Wed Dec 15 and Sat Dec 18 2021 where the local community are able to book into sessions to complete an Intro2Plastic and a Jump Session.

The website is now live, with all the information on the facility and planned community sessions that will be running from Jan 5th 2022, as well as online bookings for the Soft Launch week.

Intro2Plastic

Intro2Plastic  is a compulsory session for all participants prior to their first jumps and is designed to safely introduce you to:

• Dropping in, speed control, edging and stopping on the artificial JF snow surface
• Sliding on the bag
• Bag exit and signaling

Please note this is not a learn to Ski or Snb session and it is not a jump session. Everyone looking to access the NSTC Park must already be a competent skier or rider.

Using the discount code NSTCParkLaunch you can book in online for a Free Of Charge (normally $15) Intro2Plastic 45min Session (no jumping) on:

• Wed 15th 1:30pm, 2:45pm, 4:00pm, 7:30pm
• Sat 18th 1:00pm, 7:30pm

Please arrive at least 20mins before your session for; Wristband Collection, Equipment check and Safety Video.

Jump Sessions

You must have completed one of the Intro2Plastic sessions prior to your session.

Jump sessions that can be booked in online this week are:

• Saturday 18th 2:00-4:30pm - Open
• Saturday 18th 5:00-7:30pm - Open

Please arrive at least 20mins before your session for; Wristband Collection, Equipment check and Safety Video.
Finally, make sure you check the equipment requirements on the website before booking a session.

COVID Overlay

As is the norm now, check in QR codes and proof of vaccination status is required to enter the JSRC and NSTC Park facilities.
