Event Highlights at the NSTC
NSTC Staff First Aid and CPR training
Last week, all NSTC staff completed their annual First Aid and CPR training, ensuring everyone is up to date with essential life-saving skills.
We're proud of our staff’s ongoing commitment to safety and professionalism - this kind of behind-the-scenes training is a big part of what keeps the NSTC running at the highest standard.
Snow Australia Coach Academy and Emerging Talent Program Pre Season Launch Camp
Last weekend, the NSTC was buzzing with activity as we proudly hosted two major events: the Snow Australia Coach Academy and the Emerging Talent Program Pre-Season Launch Camp.
From Thursday through to Friday, the NSTC served as the central venue for the Snow Australia Coach Academy’s intensive coaching lab. 20 club and high-performance coaches took part in the 2-day program, engaging in live coaching sessions, workshops, and practical development. It was an incredible opportunity for coaches to grow, share knowledge, and take new skills back to their athletes and programs.
Running alongside this, from Friday to Sunday, we welcomed 55 Emerging Talent Program (ETP) athletes to the NSTC, representing multiple winter sport disciplines for the ETP Pre-Season Launch Camp. The camp delivered a dynamic schedule of fun, educational, and sport-specific sessions - all designed to help athletes connect, build confidence, and prepare for the season ahead.
We’re proud that the NSTC continues to be a leading space for collaboration, learning, and athlete development - bringing coaches and athletes together under one roof to grow the future of winter sports.
These kinds of events highlight how the NSTC isn’t just a training ground for athletes - it’s a central hub for learning, connection, and community.
We offer facility bookings for a range of events, from coaching workshops and athlete camps to conferences and professional development days. If you're interested in hosting your next event at the NSTC, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch with us at nstc@snow.org.au to find out more about how we can support your program.
ETP Park & Pipe Performance Camps
Over the past three weekends, the NSTC has been the home base for Snow Australia’s Park & Pipe Scholarship and Freeride athletes, with a series of high-energy pre-season performance camps. Featuring a mix of Emerging Talent, NSWIS, and World Cup athletes, these camps focused on reconnecting, refining high-performance habits, and building momentum for the domestic season.

Club Programs in action at the NSTC
It’s been a busy week at the NSTC, with club programs taking full advantage of our world-class training facilities. Athletes and coaches have been booking in for private sessions on both the High-Performance Airbag and in the Acro Centre.
These sessions provide valuable opportunities for athletes to build their technical skills, develop confidence, and train in a performance-focused environment - supported closely by their coaches.
We love seeing club programs tapping into what the NSTC has to offer.
