Snow Australia is pleased to announce the Athlete of the Year nominees for the 2021 Snow Australia Awards.

In just two weeks, Australia’s best snowsports athletes will gather in Melbourne for Snow Australia’s night of nights, celebrating the outstanding achievements of our athletes and coaches over what has been a tumultuous 12 months.

Bringing the snowsport community back together in 2021 for the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak, Snow Australia Awards will return to a physical celebration and will be held at Aerial on Thursday 29 April.

Snow Australia CEO Michael Kennedy says the night is a unique opportunity to have the snowsports community together again and celebrate great achievements.

“I’m looking forward to coming together as a community and celebrating the last 12 months, a period which has been challenging not only for our sport, but for our Nation and the world,” Kennedy said.

“But our athletes have risen above the challenges, demonstrating their extraordinary resilience and abilities on the world stage with terrific results across all levels and disciplines.

“The Awards is a great milestone to celebrate the performance and achievements of our Australian athletes, with the 2022 Winter Olympic Games less than 300 days away,” he said.

Congratulations to the following athletes on their nomination:
