Following a successful opening day of moguls action at the Australia and New Zealand Cup (ANC), Olympians and up-and-coming athletes ventured back to the infamous ‘Toppa’s Dream’ run for second day of fast paced skiing at Perisher Resort. 

Facing difficult weather conditions over the week, the field showed up ready to battle for the top spot, and the overall competition crown.

Milano Cortina Olympian Charlotte Wilson graced the top spot once again, posting a score of 77.94 after an impressive display of skill down the course. Fellow Australian Olympic teammate Emma Bosco followed close behind with a score of 75.70, and Japan’s Mio Tani rounded out the podium with a 75.67. 

On the Men’s side, the challenging conditions did nothing to slow Japan’s Ikkei Fukimura, who took out the top spot with a score of 88.00. Australian Olympian Jackson Harvey finished second with an 82.07, and 2026 and 2018 Olympic Medalist Matt Graham claimed third with a 82.03. 

The overall ANC points from the week of action wrapped up with an all-Australian podium in both the Men's and Women's Open category, a strong showing for the depth and consistency of the Australian moguls program.

Graham and Wilson lead Australian charge on day one Perisher ANC

Australia’s moguls stars have made a strong start at the 2026 Perisher Australian New Zealand Cup, with Olympians Matt Graham and Charlotte Wilson taking victory on the opening day of competition. 

Cool conditions and cloud cover provided ideal skiing conditions on Toppa’s Dream, with an international field lining up alongside Australia’s leading moguls athletes. 

Graham produced a dramatic comeback in the men’s competition after losing a pole during his opening run. But the Australian responded in his second run with a clean top air, strong mogul skiing through the middle section and a huge 10 on the bottom air to claim the win. 

Japan’s Ikkei Fujimura finished second, while Australian teammate Jackson Harvey rounded out the podium in third with a strong opening run. 

Australia also placed six athletes inside the top 20, with Tristan Rowley finishing 10th, Edward Hill 11th, Billy Brown 15th and Milan Davis 18th. 

In the women’s competition, Charlotte Wilson delivered two top quality runs to take gold, leading an Australian podium charge. Emma Bosco produced an outstanding second run to secure her silver, with Japan’s Hikarui Sakai finishing third. 

Lottie Lodge (4th), Talia Manns (5th) and Kareema Wakim (6th) also finished inside the top 6, while Xanthia Coote (10th) rounded out the top 10. 

With a strong field of Australian and international athletes continuing competition at Perisher, the event provides valuable racing opportunities as the moguls field builds towards the international season ahead.
