With exactly three months to the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, the Australian Winter Olympic Team uniform has been launched in Canberra today.
In the foreground of Parliament House with the Snowy Mountains in the background, athletes Tahli Gill and Dean Hewitt (Curling) launched the Sportscraft formal wear, and aerial skiers Abbey Willcox and Reilly Flanagan donned the green and gold competition wear and accessories supplied by Karbon and XTM.
Inspired by fashion capital, Milan, Sportscraft blurred the boundaries between snow fields and the runway to create a white cable sweater and wool blend blazer with gold medal buttons featuring the coat of arms. The iconic blazer features the Olympian Oath sewn into the internal lining, and the names of all Australian Winter Olympians.

On hand to celebrate the uniform’s launch were Chef de Mission Alisa Camplin AM, Steven Bradbury OAM and Zali Steggall MP- between them, the trio had a hand in winning Australia’s first five Olympic Winter Games medals.
“It’s the first time in 20-years Zali, Steve and I have all been together. Seeing their names on the lining of this iconic Sportscraft blazer and having them here to support this once in a generational team is a testament to the strength of Australian Winter sport,” Camplin said.
"There is a strong thread that ties our Winter Olympic community together, and there is immense depth in our Team thanks to consistent Government funding and support from our passionate suppliers like Sportscraft, Karbon and XTM. Australians will love watching this fearless, talented Team in February."
Karbon has worked with the Australian Winter Olympic Team for 24 years and will supply its biggest range of competition and Village wear. With a focus on performance and supporting athletes, the Karbon green and gold uniforms feature multi-usage garments of the highest technical standard in terms of waterproofing, wind proofing and warmth.
“I'm so grateful to be wearing the Australian uniform,” Milano Cortina 2026 aerials hopeful, Abbey Willcox said.
“The incorporation of the Indigenous artwork is a lovely touch and a very important part of our uniform. The warmth of the ski pants will keep us nice and toasty. When we are standing up on the hill waiting to train and compete the warmth of the uniform is vital to perform and Karbon do a phenomenal job providing athletes with that competitive edge.”

The XTM Performance range of Team accessories were developed alongside Australian athletes Danielle Scott, Laura Peel, Jakara Anthony, Louis Muhlen-Schulte, Valentino Guseli and Bree Walker. The Australian family-business based in Torquay, Victoria developed signature models for Olympic gold medallist Jakara Anthony and snowboarder Valentino Guseli.
Karbon and XTM Performance have both integrated artworks by David Bosun, a Torres Strait artist, and Paul Fleming, an Aboriginal artist and Olympic boxer. The footprints from Fleming’s artwork ‘Walking Together’ feature on a special gold Olympian Jacket which will be worn on the podium and cherished by all members of the Team.
