2021 Yarra Bend FIS Rollerski International

Events & Schedule

Saturday

  • 13:00 - Registration & Number Pick-Up
  • 14:00 - Freestyle Sprint Time Trial (1.0 km for all classes)
  • 15:00 - Freestyle Sprint Finals
  • 16:30 - Presentations

Sunday

  • 8:30 - Registration & Number Pick-Up
  • 9:30 - Start Junior Events
  • 10:00 - Start Women 5km
  • 10:30 - Start Men 10km
  • 11:30 - Presentations

FIS Events

All competitors in the FIS category events will be supplied with Swix Triac Carbon rollerskis for use in the races. Rollerskis will be allocated randomly on each day of competition. Each competitor must supply their own boots and poles. FIS results will be available here.

To be eligible to compete in the FIS events all competitors must have a current Snow Australia XC International Licence.

Non-FIS / Junior / Masters Events

All participants should supply their own rollerskis for the events. Depending on numbers, it may be possible for some categories to be supplied with the Swix rollerskis. All competitors must be have a current Snow Australia membership of any category (including Snowracer)

  • Open Non-FIS (all ages eligible)
  • Masters (turn 40 or over in 2021, born 1981 or earlier)
  • U20 Junior (born 2002-2005)
  • U16 Junior (born 2006-2009)
  • U12 Junior (born 2010 or later)

Entry Fees

  • FIS - $35 per event (FIS registered competitors only)
  • Non-FIS / Masters / U20 - $25 per event
  • U16 - $15 per event
  • U12 - $10 per event

Entry deadline is Wednesday May 26

Helmets & Safety Equipment

An Australian Standards approved cycle helmet must be worn. Knee & elbow guards are optional.

COVID-19 Protocols

These competitions will follow Snow Australia's COVID-19 protocols for rollerski events. This includes hand hygiene and physical distancing, as well as sanitising of equipment. All participants (including officials, volunteers and spectators) must not attend an event if they:

  • Have a sore throat, cough, cold or flu like symptoms, with fever or respiratory symptoms;
  • Have been exposed to anyone with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 within the last 14 days;
  • Have returned to Australia or from an identified COVID-19 hotspot within the last 14 days;
  • Have been tested for COVID-19 but have not received the results.

In general, participants should adopt a "get in, race, get out" approach.
