The Cross Country Skier High Plains Tour is a fun event for skiers of all ages and abilities. There is a choice of race distances of 10, 5, 2.5 and 1km. The race will begin at 11am in the Nordic Bowl and a suitable course will be set up for participants of all skill levels. The race is run by the Howmans Gap Allstars ski club.

Age Group Awards will be given, specific to each race distance. Random spot prizes will be given out after the race. 
Full details of the event are:

Saturday 11 July – 11am, Nordic Bowl, Falls Creek. (Race bibs are to be collected in Windy Corner between 9am and 10am).
There are Freestyle (classic or skate technique) courses of 1km, 2.5km, 5km and 10km. 
Entry costs are:

• 2.5, 5 & 10km course Adult - $39
• 2.5, 5 & 10km course Junior (under 18 - Age as at 31 December 2026) - $25
• 1 km course all participants - $10
