2024 FIS Australian Rollerski Championship

Events & Schedule

Saturday, April 13

  • 8:15 - Registration & Number Pick-Up
  • 9.00 - Registration close
  • 9:15 - Freestyle Sprint Time Trials
  • 10:00 - Freestyle Sprint Finals
  • 12:00 - Presentations

Sprint - 0.6km for U12, 1.2 km for all other classes

Sunday, April 14

  • 8:00 - Registration & Number Pick-Up
  • 9.00 - Registration Close
  • 9:15 - Junior Mass Start Events
  • 9:30 - FIS / Open / Masters Women 10km
  • 10:00 - FIS / Open / Masters Men 10km
  • 11:30 - Presentations

FIS Events

All competitors in the FIS category events will be supplied with Swix Triac Carbon rollerskis for use in the races. Rollerskis will be allocated randomly on each day of competition. Each competitor must supply their own boots and poles.

To be eligible to compete in the FIS events all competitors must have a current Snow Australia membership including the XC FIS licence.

Non-FIS / Junior / Masters Events

All participants should be prepared to supply their own rollerskis for the events. Depending on numbers, it may be possible for some categories to be supplied with the Swix rollerskis. All competitors must have current Snow Australia membership of any category (including Snowracer).

  • Open (Non-FIS)
  • Masters (turned 40 or over in 2022, born 1982 or earlier)
  • U20 junior (born 2004-2007)
  • U16 Junior (born 2008-2011)
  • U12 Junior (born 2012 or later)

Note - these age categories are the same for the 2023 Australian winter. Age classes will change by one year for all on-snow events.

Entry Fees

  • FIS - $40 per event (FIS registered competitors only)
  • Open / Masters / U20 (non-FIS) - $30 per event
  • U16 - $20 per event
  • U12 - $15 per event

Entry deadline is Wednesday April 10.

Helmets & Safety Equipment

An Australian Standards approved cycle helmet must be worn. Eyewear (glasses) must be worn. Poles must have baskets approved for rollerski racing. Knee & elbow guards are optional.

Health Protocols

All participants (including officials, volunteers and spectators) should not attend an event if they have a sore throat, cough, cold or flu-like symptoms, with fever or respiratory symptoms.
