Key appointments to SSA Board and Staff

The Board of SSA is delighted to welcome Ms Louise Barrett as a Director to fill the casual vacancy following the resignation of Mr Richie Biggins. Louise will hold office for the balance of the term of the vacating Director which, in this case will be through until the AGM in March 2018.

Scotty James wins X-Games gold in Aspen

Current World Champion and PyeongChang 2018 contender Scotty James has won SuperPipe gold at the first X Games event of the season in Aspen.   James threw down a spectacular 90-point effort on the first of two runs in the final to beat a star studded-field that included the calibre of halfpipe legend Shaun White and Sochi 2014 Olympic gold medallist Iouri Podladtchikov.

Lambert's Hat Trick of Europa Cup Gold

NSW Institute of Sport SBX rider Adam Lambert has finished with the Gold medal at the Grasgehren Europa Cup SBX Event in Germany. Lambert's victory is the third in what has been a hat trick of victories at the Europa Cup level this season.
