Perisher Winter Sports Club (PWSC)

Perisher Winter Sports Club offer various on snow programs to the broader snowsports community. From Devos and Mini-mites on Sundays, to Pathways and Performance Programs on a part- or full-time basis- There is even a Master's focused program- there really is something for everyone in Perisher. Home to Olympic silver medallist Matt Graham, the Perisher Winter Sports Club provide the perfect foundations for budding skiers and snowboarders.

Development and Mini Mites programs operate on Sundays across the winter season. Participants are looking to improve their general skiing or boarding skills. This is a fun filled program championing development and enjoyment for all on snow.
Pathway Programs are for participants aged 7-16 years old and are offered on a part time or full-time basis. Participants in Pathways are exposed to multiple disciplines within skiing and snowboarding, promoting skill development across the mountain, before a participant is to join a more specialised program in Performance. Pathway programs have a heavy focus on technical development and fun, with no real emphasis on competition.

Performance programs are designed to support the on-snow specialisation of youth athletes. Teams include Snowboard, Moguls, Alpine and Freeski and are structured on a part time and full-time capacity. Athletes engaging at this level are expected to compete at Snow Australia Sanctioned events, including National Junior Championships, National Championships and Australia/New Zealand Cup events where appropriate. FIS athletes become more and more committed the longer they engage in the sport, with skiing and school becoming their primary focus. Some athletes go on to be part of the Snow Australia ETP program and even make the national team in their discipline. Alpine athletes are also encouraged to take place in the Snow Australia Skills Challenge.

Master's Programs are open to people over the age of 25. Participants may be a sunny day, café hopping skier or looking to polish their alpine skiing technique. This is an engaging, social, passionate community. There are various opportunities for freeski and gate training, as well as the prospect of competing at a local or international level. Many of this programs' participants race and train overseas as a group, aiming for World Masters Championships participation.

Perisher ski resort host a variety of events each winter, including Interschools, Club Championships, Australia/New Zealand Continental Cup (ANC) and FIS events.
