Snowboard Community Update - December 2025

Dear Snowboard Community,

The International season has arrived quickly, and what an incredible start for our Australian athletes! Over the past week, we have seen outstanding performances in Pitztal at the Snowboard Cross European Cup and Junior FIS events. Congratulations to Josie Baff, who claimed gold in the Women’s event! In the Men’s competition, Adam Lambert narrowly missed the podium with a strong fourth-place finish, while James Johnstone placed seventh and Cameron Bolton ninth. In the Junior FIS events, Abbey Wilson delivered back-to-back podium finishes, second in the first competition and gold in the second. In the men’s Junior competition, Cameron Turner dominated with consecutive gold medals, William Martin placed fifth in the first event and joined the podium in the second, taking away the Silver medal! In addition, Angus Young achieved two impressive top eight results.

Ben Tudhope and Aaron McCarthy have kicked off their World Cup campaign in Landgraaf with impressive performances. Ben secured a strong 4th place finish in his opening event, while Aaron achieved a career milestone with his first-ever top 10 result on day two. 

Outstanding achievements from our Aussie athletes, what a fantastic way to kick off the northern season!

Looking ahead, this week Millie Bongiorno and Harvey Edmanson will compete in their first World Cup of the season on December 6 in Mylin, China. Next week, the first Snowboard Cross World Cup kicks off in Cervinia, Italy on December 12. Don’t miss the excitement, tune in to SnowLive to watch all the Aussies in action!

To submit your interest, you must hold the appropriate Snow Australia membership and meet the Junior World Championships eligibility criteria.
