Snow Australia names 80 Athletes across 13 Disciplines for 2026 Emerging Talent Program

Snow Australia is pleased to announce the 80 athletes selected for the 2026 Emerging Talent Program (ETP), marking one of the largest and most diverse intakes in the program’s history. 

This year sees significant growth across Cross Country and Para disciplines, reflecting the strength and depth of talent rising through the national pathway.

The ETP plays a key role in identifying and nurturing Australia’s next generation of winter athletes, supporting their progression through their Discipline Pathway and preparing them for the demands of high‑performance sport.

With the domestic season fast approaching, several ETP discipline groups have already kicked off their preparation. Mogul athletes have come together in Brisbane for training at the Geoff Henke Olympic Winter Training Centre, while Park & Pipe athletes will be kicking off their training on the Air Bags at the National Snowsports Training Centre (NSTC) as part of their preseason build in the coming weeks.

All ETP athletes will unite later this month for the official Season Launch Camp at the NSTC in Jindabyne. The weekend will provide an opportunity for athletes to connect with one another and ETP coaches, while taking part in a mix of training sessions and team‑building activities.
