Board Meeting #200

The Snow Australia Board held its 200th meeting on 15 September 2025, marking a significant milestone in the organisation’s history.

Key updates and decisions included:

NSTC Safety Report
An update was provided to the board on incidents at the National Snowsports Training Centre (NSTC) between July and August.  The board requested future reports include a review of trends and patterns to support ongoing safety improvements.

Financial Benchmarking
The Board received the Australian Sports Commission’s Financial Benchmarking Report, which rated Snow Australia positively across the majority of measures, noting strong financial management. The Board discussed membership income relative to participation levels and agreed to track membership metrics against strategic objectives.

Governance and Policy
The Board approved Snow Australia’s new Cyber Security Policy, which will be published and scheduled for periodic review.

Representatives from the Australian Sports Commission led an Inclusive Governance and Leadership Workshop with the Board.

The Board are reviewing the meeting schedule for 2026 including the preparation of invitations for Chairs of the National Discipline Committees to join Board meetings periodically.

The next Board meeting (#201) will be held on Monday, 27 October 2025.
