The Snow Australia Board held its 204th Meeting on May 25, 2026, key updates and decisions included:

Governance progress
Snow Australia has completed the ASC recognition documentation to maintain its National Sporting Organisation recognition. As part of this process, the Board will review Director tenure to align with ASC expectations, including developing a transition plan that will require constitutional amendment and member approval. A review and formalisation of the Nominations Committee will also be undertaken.

The Board approved the appointment of Jodi Timbs, Andy Wheeler and Abbey McConnell to the Victorian Interschools Advisory Group.

The Board also noted key reports, including the Integrity Report, Participation and Sport Development Report, and NSTC Safety Report.

Strategic direction
Newly appointed CEO Ben Wordsworth presented his 100 day plan, highlighting priorities across partnership growth, commercial opportunities and organisational effectiveness.

Facilities
The Board approved funding for the first phase of the NSTC rail line and dry slope project, with further funding strategies to be considered.

Sport development priorities
National Alpine Committee Chair Alice Chilcott joined the meeting as part of the rotating Committee Chair engagement, providing an update on alpine activity and contributing to broader long-term discipline planning.
