Sport
An update was provided to the Board by GM - Sport Ben Wordsworth on preparations for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games including qualification progress following the first World Cup events of the season. An update was also provided on Milano-Cortina 2026 Campaign Initiative funding which supported athletes and programs with their international activity through coaching, technicians and travel support.

Participation
The 'Northern Interschools Future Vision' discussion paper was presented to the Board, alongside a discussion on the hosting of future National Interschools events.

It has been acknowledged that the cost of running Interschools events is placing strain on family affordability. The challenges faced by our current event model and operations were discussed. These discussions were supported by extensive surveys conducted following the 2025 events. Further work in this area will be undertaken in collaboration with our school communities and resort partners over the coming months.

The board accepted the review and recommendations from Victorian Interschools Snowsports Advisory Group (VISAG) Chair John Dyson and GM -  Participation and Sport Development Steve Nelson to approve the extension of VISAG members for a further two years.
