Provisional 2026-2027 XC Team Selection

Provisional Cross Country Skiing National Teams for 2026-2027 have been released by the Selection Panel of the Snow Australia National Discipline Committee (NDC). Six athletes have met the performance criteria for the World Cup Team, with another seven athletes invited to join the Continental Cup Team. Provisional selections for the U23 and Junior teams are also posted below, with five athletes invited to each.

Please note, due to the cancellation of 50% of the Australian selection races, the Selection Panel has already included several discretionary selections below in the case of new athletes partially meeting the performance criteria and existing athletes moving out of age categories. Additional discretionary considerations will be made by the Selection Panel before the end of September. New Junior athletes seeking consideration and/or seeking involvement in National Team activities in the next year should complete this linked EOI by Sunday 20 September. All National Team athletes will need to submit or update Individual Performance Plans and goals for the 2026-2027 season, before the final selections are confirmed at the end of October.
