Published Fri 13 Jun 2025
Hello again Park & Pipe Community!!
It has been a great couple of weeks down under, with the International Season all wrapped up! At the beginning of May we had the chance to celebrate all athletes and their achievements over the 2024/25 season at the annual Snow Australia Awards Night! What an absolute blast it was, especially as we recognised many of the outstanding performances in the Park & Pipe discipline.
Daisy Thomas (Freeski Slopestyle/Big Air), Indra Brown (Freeski Halfpipe), Ally Hickman (Snowboard Slopestyle/Big Air), and Amelie Haskell (Snowboard Halfpipe) were named Snow Australia Junior Athlete of the year for their events. LETS GO GIRLS!! Alongside our Female and Male Athletes of the Year, Abi Harrigan (Freeski Halfpipe/Slopestyle/Big Air), Tess Coady (Snowboard Slopestyle/Big Air), Amelie Haskell (Snowboard Halfpipe), Joey Ellis (Freeski Halfpipe/Slopestyle/Big Air), Joshua Robertson-Hahn (Snowboard Slopestyle/Big Air) and Scotty James (Snowboard Halfpipe)!!
Huge shoutout to Scotty James for receiving Male Snowboard Halfpipe Athlete of the Year, and Overall Snow Australia Male Athlete of the Year! A well-deserved award for his outstanding performance this season!
Additionally, to Amelie Haskell, for being awarded both Junior and Open Female Athlete of the Year for Snowboard Halfpipe. What an amazing achievement!
Following the Snow Australia Awards Night, our National Discipline Committee met and discussed all things Park & Pipe, including the upcoming season and a look ahead at a 10-year discipline plan.
Watch this space! We hope to see great things coming this way!
