Correction: Stubai Freeski Slopestyle Men’s Qualifications
Snow Australia wishes to issue a correction regarding yesterday’s update from the Stubai Freeski Slopestyle World Cup.
The Men’s Qualifications were cancelled, and we inadvertently reported results based on the published start list rather than actual competition outcomes. We sincerely apologise for this error and extend our apologies to Joey Elliss.
Joey will be competing in the event today, and we encourage the entire snowsports community to get behind him and show their support.

Aussie Women in Season-Opening Freeski Slopestyle World Cup in Stubai
Australia’s freeski athletes have competed in their opening World Cup outing of the 2025/26 season, with Slopestyle qualifications in Stubai, Austria wrapping up the first of three crucial Olympic qualifying events for Milano Cortina 2026.
Competing for Australia were Daisy Thomas and Abi Harrigan, each beginning their international season against a deep and highly competitive
Abi Harrigan delivered a solid opening performance to finish 15th, while Daisy Thomas placed 24th.
Stubai marks the first qualification opportunity of the season, with athletes now turning their focus to the remaining World Cup events as they continue their campaigns toward Milano Cortina 2026.
The finals in Stubai can be watched on Snow LIVE Saturday night from 9.20pm.
