Bree Munro

Coming from a background in gymnastics Munro made the switch to freestyle skiing in 2002, making her Word Cup debut in Mt Buller the same year.

Her first overseas World Cup was in 2005, having competed in the Mt Buller World Cups in the previous three years. 

Throughout her World Cup career, he made 7 top 10 placings from 30 starts. 

She placed 9th in the World Championships in Japan in 2009.

In the lead up to her Olympic debut at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, she narrowly missed the podium with a fourth place at the World Cup in Lake Placid. 

One of four Australian Aerial skiers competing at the Vancouver Olympics, she placed 18th with her team mate Lydia Lassila, memorably winning the gold medal. 

Since retiring, Munro has started a career in coaching at the Victorian Institute of Sport for aerial skiing and at Methodist Ladies College.
