National Snowsports Club Insurance Program

Snow Australia now offers liability insurance for small single-day events with up to 200 competitors. This cover is designed to support community-level competitions, participation events and club-based activities operating within the Australian snowsports environment.
Small Event Insurance information and application form
Snow Australia, in partnership with Insurance Advisernet (IA), provides Australian ski and snowboard clubs with access to public liability insurance through the National Snowsports Club Insurance Policy (NSCIP). The policy, underwritten by Sportscover Australia Pty ltd, is designed to support clubs at all levels, from lodges and recreational groups to competitive race clubs, pathway programs and associations, ensuring appropriate, reliable cover across the snowsports community.
The NSCIP has been specifically developed to meet the unique needs of the sport, covering on-snow activities, club events and overseas programs. Its flexibility allows both competitive and non-competitive clubs to benefit, including access to favourable premium levels. Ongoing support from clubs is essential to maintaining this tailored coverage and pricing, and Snow Australia encourages all ski and snowboard organisations to participate in the program.
In summary the National Snowsports Club Insurance Program provides protection via the following policy components;
- General Liability - $10/20 million
- Professional Indemnity - $2 million
- Management Liability - $1/5 million
- Ski Lodge Liability - $10/20 million
- Policy Effective - 1st May 2026 to 30 April 2027

All new clubs, lodges, programs and associations must complete the application form and management liability form. Previously insured organisations would have been provided with their renewal terms for 2025 via email (if you did not contact Snow Australia info@snow.org.au). When filling out the forms electronically, please make sure you save/download prior to completing to ensure ensure you don't lose any data. |
