2026 Australian XC Ski Open/Junior Sprint Championships - Freestyle
Organised for Snow Australia XC Committee by NSWACT XCC. 
This is a FIS endorsed event, part of the 2026 Continental Cup series, and is an Australian Junior/Open Selection Race.

An individual freestyle sprint race will be conducted near the Sverre Kaaten Nordic Shelter on Saturday August 22.

Start Time
Qualification starting rounds will commence at 9.30am.  

Race Office
The Race Office at the Nordic Shelter will be open from 8.00am to 9.00am on race day.  Race numbers can be collected during those hours.

Online Entries
Online entries will close on Wednesday August 19 at midnight.  Late entries will not be accepted.

Entry FeesJuniors (U20) - $45
Seniors - $65

This is a non-fluor event. The use of fluor wax is prohibited. By entering this event all competitors are agreeing to abide by this policy.

• MW OPEN - 2006 + earlier (800-1200M)
• MWU20 - 2007-2008 (800-1200M)
• MWU18 - 2009-2010 (800-1200M)
• MWU16 - 2011-2012 (400-800M)
• MWU14 - 2013-2014 (400-800M)
• MWU12 - 2015-2016 (400M)

Presentation
Presentations will be held outside of the Nordic Shelter shortly after the event.
