Snow Australia Para Volunteer eoi

Inspired by the energy and momentum of the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, Snow Australia is expanding its Para Alpine, Para Snowboard, and Para Cross-Country programs, and we’re looking for passionate volunteers to join the journey.
From first-time experiences on snow through to high-performance pathways, volunteers play a critical role in creating inclusive, supportive, and positive experiences for para athletes across all levels of the sport.
There are a range of opportunities available throughout the season, including:
• Sighted guiding for visually impaired athletes
• On-snow athlete support
• Coaching and instructor support
• Adaptive Festival support
• Development Camp support
• Administration and event assistance
• General volunteer roles both on and off snow
Whether you’re a coach, instructor, athlete, parent, snow sport enthusiast, or simply someone wanting to give back to the community, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
In particular, Snow Australia Adaptive Festivals rely on a strong volunteer network to help deliver fun, welcoming, and inclusive entry points into snow sports for new participants.
Key Adaptive Festival dates for the 2026 season include:
• 19 - 21 June | Thredbo Adaptive Festival
• 18 - 19 July | Falls Creek Adaptive Festival
• 15 - 17 August | Mt Buller Adaptive Festival
• 11 -13 September | Perisher Adaptive Festival
In particular, we are currently seeking a large number of volunteers to support these Adaptive Festivals throughout the season. If you are interested and available to assist at one or more of the events above, please include this within your Expression of Interest form.
Some volunteer roles may require previous skiing or snowboarding experience, while others simply require enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to support others.
Please complete the form below to express your interest in volunteering this season.
Volunteer Requirements:
• Snow Australia Volunteer Membership (Free SnowID Membership)
• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Please include your WWCC number within the form.
If you have any additional questions or would like to introduce yourself, we’d love to hear from you, just email us at para@snowsport.org.au.
