VICXC 2026 Camps
Falls Creek On-Snow Camp

6-10 July, 2026

CAMP DETAILS

This VICXC camp at Falls Creek is a non-residential camp, including skiing and dryland training activities and educational sessions. This camp is primarily for VIC XC athletes 13 to 20 years old, however, if there is capacity, places may be available to NSWXC athletes and athletes outside this age group.

Dates: Monday to Friday 6-10 July
Locations: Falls Creek
Camp Schedule: 

Monday-Friday: Morning sessions will likely be 9am-11:30am and afternoon sessions 2.00pm-4.00pm, depending on snow and weather conditions. There will be educational sessions on some evenings and possibly on some afternoons.

Weekend: Some coaching support will be available for the club races at Falls Creek on the weekend of July 11-12 (High Plains Tour and Birkebeiner Classic).

Accommodation: This is a non-residential camp. Athletes and families will need to find their own accommodation solutions in Mt Beauty or Falls Creek. Rooms may be available at Howmans Gap - please contact directly.

Catering: No catering provided, athletes and families should arrange their own lunch and suitable post-training snacks.

Transport between sessions: Coaches will assist in coordinating carpooling from Mt Beauty.

Cost: $165

Membership: Participants must have current VICXC SKI TEAM membership.

Register: Please register by Sunday 28 June to confirm your place at the camp.

Further details will be provided in the lead-in to the camp.

COLD/FLU PROTOCOLS

Any athletes exhibiting any cold / flu or other Covid-19 symptoms should not travel to attend this camp, nor attend any sessions if symptoms develop during the camp. More details will be provided to all participants leading into the camp.
