Mount Buller Race Club (MBRC)

Mount Buller Race Club was established in 1987 for young alpine ski and snowboard athletes. With a member base spread across Under 10’s, U12’s, U14’s, U16’s, FIS and masters, this is a diverse club cultivating a strong community feel.

The club offers training in a full time and weekend basis, with full time athletes basing themselves on the mountain throughout the winter to maximise their time training on snow.

Members of MBRC compete in Interschools, Snow Australia sanctioned events and events hosted by Mt Buller Resort.

The MBRC Masters program is a fun, social offering for members who wish to develop their technical skiing skills and meet likeminded people along the way.

MBRC has a clubhouse located in resort, serving as a hub for all club operations. The club is very active socially, enjoying coming together both on and off snow, in and outside of the Australian winter season. They are a passionate community that enjoy supporting the aspirations of their current and alumni athletes, with many having competed at the highest level- the Olympic Winter Games, such as Belle Brockhoff, Cameron Bolton and Anton Grimus.

MBRC employs experienced coaches to lead their clubs’ on snow activity. The coaches bring to the club years of experience, dedication to skiing and boarding and a general love for developing Australian athletes.

MBRC utilise the fitness, multi-sport and rock climbing facilities available at Mt Buller to enhance the physical capabilities of the member group and encourage physical literacy development throughout the entire year, utilising dryland programs.
