Welcome to Winter
Winter is here and so is the energy and momentum from an incredible international season for our Para Snowsports High Performance Teams!
After months of travel, training, and competition, our elite athletes have returned home with some outstanding accomplishments under their belts. Highlighted by Ben Tudhope claiming his 3rd place at the World Championships in Big White (CAN), cementing his place among the best in the world. His consistent performances across the season also saw him on multiple World Cup podiums, a true testament to his hard work and determination.
In Para Alpine, our rising stars made their mark on the global stage as well. Josh Hanlon and Georgia Gunew (guided by Ethan Jackson) each walked away with two World Cup bronze medals, showcasing the depth of talent coming through the ranks. As we kick off the season here at home, we carry this momentum forward.
Now, both the HP teams are looking forward to kicking off the domestic season in Jindabyne this June. The HP teams with eyes firmly set on training hard to qualify for the Paralympic Winter Games which will be held in Cortina, Italy in March 2026. They will be supporting development activity with appearances at the Adaptive Festival, Para Futures and Multi-Class events throughout the season. From grassroots programs to elite competition, Para Snowsports are ready to welcome new faces, support our developing athletes, and support the High Performance teams compete at the highest level on their path to the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina.
