Expression of Interest - Para-Snowsport Classifiers

Published Thu 06 Jul 2023

Snow Australia is seeking expressions of interest to join our team of volunteer Para-Snowsport Classifiers.

As the governing body for snowsports in Australia, Snow Australia is responsible for ensuring that Para-Snowsport athletes are classified fairly and accurately. Classifiers play a critical role in this process by assessing an athlete's functional ability and assigning them to a sport class that is appropriate for their level of impairment.

Classifiers need to have a keen eye for detail and be committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity in sport. They are required to access on-snow environments as part of the Classification process, so experience in this area is required.

Snow Australia welcomes registered physios and medical doctors to apply, with a preference to those with experience in musculoskeletal and neurological assessment.

Due to limited availability, spots are limited. Those who apply be notified of selection on Monday 24 July ahead of the Snow Australia Para Futures in August when the Classification Education sessions will be held.
