Day 11 Preview: Tess flies for big air glory

We all enjoyed watching Tess Coady win Australia's first medal of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, on day 11 you can cheer on Tess in another final.

Across the day Australia has three athletes competing in three different sports.

Snowboard

Beijing 2022 bronze medallist Tess Coady will be lining up in the women's snowboard big air final.

She comfortably qualified for the final yesterday in seventh position with 11 other competitors.

Each finalist will have three runs. The two best scoring runs for each athlete will be added together to create their final score. The highest scoring athletes will have a share in the medals.

Her competition for the finals features the Beijing 2022 women's snowboard slopestyle gold medallist Zoi Sadowski-Synnott from New Zealand, who will be looking to take her second gold of the Games. Having qualified in first position she has shown she's the one to beat.

Alpine Skiing

Greta Small will be in action at the Yanqing National Alpine Skiing Centre for the women's downhill event.

The downhill course, which is the fastest and highest adrenaline-filled event of all the alpine skiing disciplines, has the reputation as being one of the fastest and most difficult in Olympic history.

Greta will be aiming to improve on finishing 20th in 2018 at Pyeongchang.
