Six months on from making her Olympic Winter Games debut, Australian moguls skier Charlotte Wilson is preparing for another season on the World Cup circuit after a memorable first Games in Milano Cortina.
The 21-year-old made her Olympic debut alongside her younger sister Abbey Wilson, who competed in snowboard cross, making the experience a special one for the Jindabyne athlete and her family.
Charlotte produced a strong performance in the Women’s Moguls, progressing through to ‘Final 2’, ultimately finishing sixth overall in her first Olympic appearance.
“It was such an amazing experience,” Wilson said.
“I had so much fun, and I was so grateful to get to experience my debut Olympics with my sister, my family and all of my teammates.”
Wilson also made history in the newly introduced Dual Moguls event, facing fellow Australian Emma Bosco in the first-ever Olympic dual moguls race before finishing 24th after an early exit.
Her Olympic performance built on a breakthrough 2025 season, which saw Wilson win her first World Cup at the Olympic test event in Livigno in March. The victory came just one day after she was named the International Ski and Snowboard Federation Rookie of the Year.
Now, with her first Olympic experience behind her, Wilson is focused on preparing for the next World Cup season and continuing to build on her progress at the highest level.
“So over the next couple of months, we'll head back to Brisbane and do some water ramp practice up at the Geoff Henke facility up there,” she said.
“And then we will head overseas early November and kick off the World Cup tour,” she said.
With another season on the World Cup circuit ahead, Wilson will look to carry the confidence and experience gained from her Olympic debut into the next chapter of her career, with plenty more opportunities to test herself against the world's best.
