1992 -

Discipline: Freestyle Moguls
Olympic Participation: Sochi 2014
Medal awarded in: 2021

Jindabyne local Nicole Parks was enrolled in the Perisher Winter Sports Club at the age of 7. After participating in various disciplines in the program, she dedicated herself to Moguls after her first year at the club.

At 17 years old, she was given the opportunity to compete at her first World Cup in 2010 where she placed 31st. Being an Olympic year, if she had placed just one position higher, she would have qualified for the Vancouver Olympics.

She made her Olympic debut at Sochi 2014, qualifying through to the finals and achieving a 15th place.

Her last international event was the Dual Moguls World Cup in Deer Valley in 2017 where she placed 8th. It was her best result of her successful career.

Parks credits Manuela Berchtold as a role model in her career. At the time, she looked up to the NSWIS skiers Dave Graham, Ramone Cooper and Sam Hall.

After her retirement from mogul skiing, Parks turned to coaching with the The Mogul Skiing Academy (AUSMSA) teaching the next generation.
