FIS Events

All competitors in the FIS category events will be supplied with Swix Triac Carbon rollerskis for use in the races. Rollerskis will be allocated randomly on each day of competition. Each competitor must supply their own boots and poles.

To be eligible to compete in the FIS events all competitors must have a current valid FIS licence. Note - there are no age categories for the FIS events.

Non-FIS / Junior / Masters / Para Events

All participants should be prepared to supply their own rollerskis for the events. Depending on numbers, it may be possible for some categories to be supplied with the Swix rollerskis. All competitors must have current Snow Australia membership of any category (including Snowracer).

  • Open (Non-FIS)
  • Para - all classifications
  • Masters (turned 40 or over in 2024, born 1984 or earlier)
  • U20 Junior (born 2006 - 2009)
  • U16 Junior (born 2010 - 2013)
  • U12 Junior (born 2014 or later)

Note - these age categories are the same as for the 2025 Australian winter. Age classes will change by one year for all 2026 on-snow events.

Entry Fees

  • FIS - $45 per event (FIS registered competitors only)
  • Open / Masters / U20 (non-FIS) - $40 per event
  • U16 - $25 per event
  • U12 - $20 per event

Entry deadline is Thursday April 9. Limited late entry is available on the day (with extra fee)

Helmets & Safety Equipment

An Australian Standards approved cycle helmet must be worn. Eyewear (glasses) must be worn. Poles must have baskets approved for rollerski racing. A limited supply of rollerski tips/baskets will be available to purchase at the event. Knee & elbow guards are optional.

AUSXC Awards

The 2026 AUSXC Awards are on again in conjunction with the rollersk races. All participants, families and supporters welcome!

Health Protocols

All participants (including officials, volunteers and spectators) should not attend an event if they have a sore throat, cough, cold or flu-like symptoms, with fever or respiratory symptoms.
