Snow Australia and Paralympics Australia are proud to present Ride for the Games, a celebration of snowsports held at Sport and Rec in Jindabyne while our Australian athletes compete for gold on the world stage.

Experience the thrill of roller skiing, which mirrors the movements our cross-country skiers use to train year-round. Test your skills on our ski simulator and feel what it’s like to carve down a snowy mountain. Try electric skateboarding, a perfect crossover activity for aspiring snowboarders.

Take part in fun, snow-themed challenges, learn more about Snow Australia’s Para programs, and start building movement skills inspired by our on-snow disciplines. Whether you're new to snow sports or ready to level up, this is your chance to get involved.

The day will finish with a Games Watch Party, where we’ll come together to cheer on Team Australia as they compete for gold.

Outline 

Friday, 14 March
Arrival day (optional if you prefer not to travel on Saturday morning).

Saturday, 15 March
Kick-off at 10 AM with a full day of activities including roller skiing, ski simulator, electric skateboarding and more!
From 6 PM onwards, we’ll gather for a Games Watch Party to cheer on our Aussies competing in Italy!

Sunday, 16 March
Continue refining skills from Saturday before wrapping up at 12 PM.

Inclusions:
Lunch, dinner, and snacks
All equipment and instruction provided

Transport:
Participants are required to arrange their own transport to and from Sport and Rec.

Meals:
Please organise your own breakfast before arriving. Snacks, lunch, and dinner will be provided throughout the day.

Accommodation:
We recommend booking accommodation for Saturday night, as the Watch Party will begin at 6 PM and run into the evening.

Event Cost:
Free of charge – there is no cost to attend this event.
