SOUTH AUSTRALIAN / TAS INTERSCHOOLS SNOWSPORTS CHAMPIONSHIPS

The South Australian/Tasmanian Interschools Snowsport Championships are part of the National Interschools Series, coordinated by Snow Australia. This event allows primary and secondary students from SA and TAS to represent their schools in a range of disciplines, including Alpine, Snowboard Giant Slalom, Ski Cross, and Snowboard Cross.

Achieving competitive times at the Championships may qualify students for the Australian Interschools Snowsport Championships. This progression offers SA/TAS athletes a valuable pathway to compete at a national level alongside some of Australia's top junior snowsport talent.

Events and Schedule: 

Division: 

Participants can enter individually and enter into the following school year divisions:

Division 1 - Year 11 and 12

Division 2 - Year 9 and 10

Division 3 - Year 7 and 8

Division 4 - Year 5 and 6

Division 5 - Year 4 and below

Division 6 - Kindergarten to Year 2 (available for Alpine and Ski Cross only, for snowboard events enter Division 5).

Cost:  In 2025 there will be two levels of entry fees. Please note that the entry fees do not include your lift ticket.

Early Bird Entry Fee: $53 per event, per competitor.

Late Entry Fee: $65 per event, per competitor.

Payment will be part of the online entry system.

Entries:  

Helmets:  Helmet use is mandatory for all participants (including adults) whilst on course for inspection and during the Time Trial.  Any participants who arrive at the top of the course without a helmet will not be able to participate. Please note that race suits will not be permitted.

Entry Requirements:

All Participants must have a Snow Australia Snowracer Membership, which is free of charge, to compete. If you have competed in the Interschools before, you will already be a member, so you just need to renew your Snowracer membership for 2025. If you are competing for the first time, you will need to sign up for a Snowracer membership first to complete your entry.
