Come & Try Cross Country Skiing

Ever wanted to try Cross Country Skiing or learn new techniques and skills?

Open to everyone who is new to Cross Country Skiing! Cost per person is $25 for the day.  The day involves a two-hour lesson from 9.00 am to 11.00 am by professional ski instructors, a sausage sandwich, and a tour of the trails in the afternoon.  Please arrive by 8.30 am to be graded into groups.

Equipment can be hired from Wilderness Sports (Jindabyne & Perisher), Snowline Sports (Jindabyne), or Rhythm Sports (Cooma).

This event is run jointly by the Snow Australia NSW/ACT Cross Country Committee and Perisher X-Country.

Please note that in the event that the Come & Try day cannot be held due to snow conditions, participants' entry payments will be donated to the Perisher Nordic Shelter.

Entry note:  All participants must have a SnowID in order to register. A SnowID is linked to an active membership of Snow Australia. if you have competed in Snow Australia events previously, you may already have a SnowID. Use the SnowID look up to see. You will need to have renewed your membership for the 2022 season. If you do not have a SnowID, you can sign up for a free Snowracer membership with Snow Australia where you will be assigned a SnowID.
