Perisher Winter Sports ClubPerisher’s Winter Sports Club (PWSC) conducts a variety of season long programs specially designed for enthusiasts to develop and progress their snow riding skills. Some of the biggest names in Winter Sports such as Russell Henshaw, Nicole Parks, Zali Steggall, Craig Branch and Sami Kennedy-Sim kicked off their careers with our Winter Sports Club before going on to compete at International World Cup Events and Olympic Games. Perisher’s first class facilities include Australia’s only Halfpipes, Australia's award winning Terrain Parks, Toppa’s Dream Mogul slope and an Olympic inspired Rider Cross course, so you’ll be sure to see some professional athletes’ training with us throughout the season. With access to over 1245 hectares ranging across four resort areas, our athletes receive training in a variety of disciplines on varied terrain, allowing for a higher level of comfort on any mountain and in any condition. Team Buller Riders (TBR)Mogul Skiing, Aerial Skiing, Slopestyle Ski & Snowboard Recognised Program Team Buller Riders (TBR) is a freestyle skiing & snowboarding club based at Mt Buller, specialising in the Olympic disciplines of mogul skiing, slopestyle/big air (ski and snowboard) and aerial skiing. We have been in operation since 1986. TBR’s phenomenal achievements include Australia’s four Olympic aerial skiing medals (Alisa Camplin & Lydia Lassila - Gold & Bronze medal each), Australia’s first skiing X-Games Gold medal (Anna Segal), mogul skiing world cup medallists Jakara Anthony & Brodie Summers, 15 Olympians & too many World Cup medals to mention. TBR forms an essential part of the Australian Winter Sports Olympic Pathway, closely linked with Snow Australia and the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (OWIA). These relationships provide our athletes with access to some of the best program design, coaching and training facilities in the world. Mt Buller Winter Programs: TBR: GROM is designed to foster skiing & acrobatic skills that will enable skiers to move into the more specialised TBR: MOGUL and TBR: SLOPESTYLE programs and beyond... The transition from TBR: GROM is entirely the choice of individual skiers and is encouraged to be based on an individual’s future aims and skiing goals. TBR: MOGUL is a competition focused training program for skiers aged 14-20 who have either progressed through the TBR: GROM program or already possess the required TBR: PLATFORM technical skiing skill set. TBR: MOGUL aims to foster a level of skill development and passion geared towards success in competition from Interschools through to athletes who wish to pursue the highest levels of the sport such as World Cup or the Olympic Winter Games. TBR: SLOPESTYLE is a competition focused training program for skiers aged 14-20 who have either progressed through the TBR: GROM program or already possess the required TBR: PLATFORM technical skiing skill set. Water Jump/Acrobatic Training TBR values the importance of building a strong aerial skill base on water and trampoline to maximise on snow performance and minimise the risk of injury. For these reasons, TBR strongly encourages all riders to attend waterjump training at the Snow Australia water jump facility and any acrobatic training opportunities. TBR Overseas Camp TBR also operates on snow training camps overseas to provide athletes year round opportunities. Once overseas travel for development athletes in the pathway is allow to resume, we look for to announcing a new location for our overseas camp.

Mount Hotham Free Ski (MHFS)MHFS is a family based Free Style Skiing community club which operates 12 months of the year round, based at Mount Hotham over the Australian winter. The young members, families, coaches and staff all generously share they're passion for skiing. The club offers advanced technical Free Style training with a driving competitive edge to State, National, World Cup, and Olympic pathways. MHFS offers intermediate / advanced young skiers the opportunity to train with a selection of ex World Cup and highly experienced sporting mentors amongst they're hand picked highly skilled Free Style coaches. PROGRAMS: PROGRAMS : Full time / Part time / Casual Winter Programs : Offering all round Free Style programs with a selection of specialised Free Ski Disciplines Camps and Clinics. Dry Land Programs : A series of fun Free Style developmental programs operating outside of our Australian Winter's. Sports include : Trampoline, SSA Water Ramp jumping, Spring board Diving, Ice Hockey, In line Hockey, 2 Overseas Free Ski Camps - Colorado (January ) Japan (Easter School Holidays) Our Director of Programs Martin Rowley is a previous 10 year World Cup Mogul Competitor who has grown up in the township of Thredbo. Martin shares his passion for skiing and offers his extensive knowledge and world wide connections to all. |

Thredbo Mountain AcademyThredbo Mountain Academy is a specifically designed seasonal program for athletes aged from 10 years on. Mountain Academy has worked extensively with Ski and Snowboard Australia to become a key partner and pathway provider to ensure the continued growth and success of future Australian winter sports athletes. Mountain Academy is designed for the athlete that is looking for that link in their developmental pathway that will take them to the highest level of their chosen sport nationally and internationally. Over the course of the 12 week program, Mountain Academy participants will train, compete and progress to become well rounded, consistent, excited and ambitious athletes in their discipline. Mountain Academy programs have the BEST coaches that have decades of experience at the highest international level. They include Olympians, World Champions, current and past athletes and coaches with the highest internationally recognised accreditations to their name. With the likes of Ryan Tiene, Enzo Scotto, Marguerite Cossetini and Jono Brauer amongst many others, Mountain Academy is equipped to succeed. Mountain Academy programs are designed to focus on the fundamental development of the athlete to ensure that they have the core skills required that will see them rocket to the top of their sport. Whilst we work hard on and off snow to create the best athletes possible we firmly believe that to achieve your dreams takes passion, and to be passionate we must have FUN. Team HothamSince 1972, Mount Hotham Racing Squad (MHRS - a not for profit society) has been focused on the development of winter sports athletes. Our programs across Freeride, Alpine and SkierX pathways are designed to consistently develop the key athletic, mental, personal management and sport specific skills required for athletic success and personal growth. Our programs are based on a community culture and core values (community- passion – can do – respect –professionalism). We are home to several Olympians who succeeded in Alpine, SkierX and FreeRide disciplines. We offer a full range of activity to develop young skiers skills and guide them on to Interschools and Elite pathway programs. Team Hotham offer part-time, part-time plus, full-time and school holiday programs. |
