Our April School Holiday Program wrapped up last week, and what a solid week it was. We had 22 participants join us at the NSTC for a mix of Acro and Airbag training, and it was awesome to see everyone putting in the effort and making progress across the board.

From first-time flips to refining technique and building confidence, each session saw improvements — and plenty of fun along the way. The vibe was relaxed and positive, with a great mix of focus, laughter, and support throughout the week.

A big thanks to our team for keeping the energy up and creating a space where everyone could give it a go and push themselves a little further.

Our Term 2 Acro program is ready to roll! With classes for all ages — from Tiny Tumblers to Teens to Adults — there’s something for everyone looking to bounce, flip, and build skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Here's what's on each week:

TUESDAY

• 3:45pm - Ages 5-8
• 4:45pm – Ages 9–12
• 5:45pm – Ages 13–16
• 6:45pm – Adults (17+)

WEDNESDAY

• 9:30am & 10:30am - Tiny Tumblers (3-4yrs)
• 3:45pm - Ages 5-8
• 4:45pm - Ages 9-12
• 5:45pm - Ages - 13-16

THURSDAY

• 3:45pm - Ages 5-8
• 4:45pm - Ages 9-12
• 5:45pm - Ages 13-16

FRIDAY

•  3:45pm – Ages 5–8
•  4:45pm – Tumbling Gymnastics (Ages 8–15)

SATURDAY

• 9:30am & 10:30am - Tiny Tumblers (3-4yrs)
• 11:30am &12:30pm - Open bounce (all ages)

We’re lucky to have some incredible coaches here at the NSTC, and this Term we’re excited to spotlight a few of them so you can get to know the faces behind the programs.

First up — meet Des. Des brings a wealth of experience to the Acro Centre, with a strong background being involved in gymnastics since she was 6, competed at a high level through to her early twenties, and has been coaching since 2014. She’s worked with all ages and holds multiple coaching and judging qualifications.

She’s not only technically sharp, but also brings a calm, confident coaching style that makes learning feel achievable and fun.
