National Snowsports Training Centre Works Commence

Work has commenced on the construction of a dry slope airbag jump at Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre as part of Stage 1 of the $5 million Snow Australia National Snowsports Training Centre (NSTC).

Snow Australia is working with the NSW Government to develop the NSTC in Jindabyne with the refurbishment of the existing JSRC sport centre that will become the NSTC administration, acrobatic and training facility.

  FIS Rollerski International postponed until February
 

Due to the current travel bans to the ACT from Sydney and the recent Victorian-NSW border closure the FIS Rollerski International scheduled for Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra on January 16-17 is being postponed until February 13-14.

National Alpine Communication survey is open

Snow Australia National Alpine Committee (NAC) is reviewing its communication channels and developing a National Communication Strategy.
 
To assist the soon-to-be formed NAC Communication Working Group, the NAC is seeking feedback on its current communication approaches for Alpine and Ski Cross and its stakeholders, and invites all Alpine and Ski Cross community members (athletes, parents, masters, officials, coaches and others) to complete a 10-question National Alpine Communication Survey.
